Wood spirit with a flowing beard and intricately painted eyes.  This is an original One-of-a-Kind item. After several years of studying anatomy and facial structure, Jason Ray was able to carve this life-like sculpture. After that, several coats of an indoor/outdoor spar urethane finish was hand applied. Finally resulting in a one of a kind wooden figurine that will not only make your friends and family go “wow!” but also give you bragging rights.

Each piece is individually handmade, and is carved and shaped using an assortment of tools including a variety of saws, grinders, chisels, files, and sanding abrasives.

Besides sawdust, it’s my goal to create interesting conversation pieces that will make you smile. Just like people… no two of my creations are exactly the same, nor is each piece perfect.

Most critics do not consider my work as fine art. Some folks feel I could have done a better job sanding, or more time should be put into the finishing… To me, it just adds that special “handmade touch”.
